Karatsev To Meet Khachanov In Moscow SFs

Karatsev, the Australian Open semifinalist, overpowered French veteran Gilles Simon 6-4, 6-3 to reach his fourth career ATP final four, and first since Belgrade last spring.
2018 Moscow champion Khachanov had a tougher day edging John Millman 7-5, 7-6(4).
“I think it is great we are having an all-Russian semi-final, so I want the crowd to come and cheer for both of us,” said Karatsev.
Khachanov has won both tour meetings with Karatsev, and leads 4-1 including Challengers.
Former US Open champion Marin Cilic reached is fourth semifinal of the year ousting Pedro Martinez 6-1, 6-2. He’ll take on lucky loser Ricardis Berankis who upended Adrian Mannarino 6-2, 7-6(1).
“Today was an amazing match from my side, serving and everything was working well,” Cilic told the crowd. “I feel match after match I am playing better and better and it is great. I am enjoying this court and this stadium and thank you to the crowd for the support.”
