- • Began playing tennis at age 9. Also played basketball until age 14.

- • Four-year All-American at University of Georgia (2004-07), winning 2005 NCAA doubles title w/Ruiz, reaching 2007 NCAA singles final and leading Bulldogs to 2007 NCAA team title.
