In-form Finnish Jarkko Nieminen defeated 2004 Olympic Gold medalist
Nicolas Massu 6-3, 7-6(4) to reach the final four. The No. 7 seed advanced to the semifnals for the first time in this tournament after two first round losses in his previous two appearances (2002, 2004). (ATP)
