Doubles superstar Mahesh Bhupathi and the former Miss Universe Lara Dutta were married Wednesday in a private ceremony at Bhupathi’s home in Mumbai, India.

The newlyweds are expected to be on honeymoon today in Goa where more celebrations and functions with friends and family are expected. And among those rumoredto be in attendance for Thursday’s “church wedding” are Roger Federer and Martina Navratilova.

Bhupati and Lara got engaged last September. Mahesh was previously married to Shvetha Jaishankar. The 32-year-old Dutta is a Bollywood actress and she won the Miss Universe crown in 2000.

From the report it doesn’t sound like Mahesh’s doubles partner, Leander Paes, was at the ceremony. The two were just Australian Open finalists last month.
