SG1 Says:

Novak handles his fame well. Kept it light and fun and as always and was self-deprecating which is refreshing.

David Ferrer said Nole is totally unique in his experience – and a super promoter of tennis globally in a way other players don’t contribute in the same way. An impact mainly outside West Europe, N America, and Australia in the new markets.
Sport should be had work and effort, Ferrer noted, but also fun and getting real enjoyment from connecting with different people in different cultures, and not just fans. Djokovic is a great example of that.
Termed Djokovic a driven, intelligent perfectionist, multiple languages..who is also really into goofy comedy and dances ..and one of the nicest guys on Tour. Ferrer was saying this back in 2014, adding the Spanish guys like him a lot, and respect Nole’s charity work, and efforts to mend wounds of past national conflicts . And he is appreciated and liked by most of the women players, juniors, ATP staff, seniors tour.
David’s remarks happened after Nole beat Rafa and several other Spanish players at an event, and the Brit reporter expected some dissing of Nole. That did not happen. Instead, wall-to-wall praise.
