2009 US Open TV Schedule
The US Open begins in less than one week and the anticipation is building for the final tennis Grand Slam like never before. The fields are wide open on both sides as Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray lead the way for the men while the Williams sisters, Serena and Venus, and will try to defend their home turf from the Serbs and the Russians. The event, which begins, on Monday, August 31 will be televised in the U.S. live on the Tennis Channel, ESPN2 and on CBS. Live coverage begins on the weekdays at 11am with the Tennis Channel, then at 1pm ESPN2 goes on air with the top matches from the show courts.
ESPN2 will have full coverage in the evening as part of the network’s first year as broadcaster of the US Open.
Live online streaming of the tennis from the US Open will be available on USOpen.org. The service will feature over 150 matches and 300 hours or live coverage available here in the U.S. free of charge.
With the ESPN2/Tennis Channel tandem, U.S. viewers will be able to see full coverage of the US Open from first ball until last ball each weekday.

WOWWOW is covering the US Open for the 26th consecutive year and will broadcast more than 107 hours of action, starting with the men’s and women’s opening rounds on Monday, August 31, and culminating with the Women’s Doubles final on Sunday, September 13.
