According to gossip site TMZ, Maria Sharapova and boyfriend Sasha Vujacic are engaged! ADHEREL
I know many of you hate TMZ after last week’s Federer-Forstmann controversy, but sometimes they do get their facts straight.
Reportedly, Vujacic popped the question to Maria Sharapova at his home in Manhattan Beach. The website also says Sharapova has been seen wearing a rather “ginourmous” diamond ring.
Vujacic is a 26-year-old Slovenian who’s played six seasons with the world champion LA Lakers, suffered a concussion in practice last week. I wonder if the injury played a role?
Sharapova hasn’t a had a great year but if this is true it will surely make up for it. So congrats to Maria and especially so to the 6-foot-7 Sasha who’s getting the better end of this deal.
