Fernando Verdasco Samples the Acapulco Cliff Diving Scene, But Doesn’t Jump [Video]

I admit, watching this video all I wanted to see was Fernando Verdasco jump off the clif! Alas. Verdasco never does take the leap instead deferring to the pros. Wisely so, maybe.

The lefty called jumping 35 meters off a cliff is too risky. He prefers to do his jumping off a boat (ha!).

Verdasco, who’s results are starting to mimic the path of a cliff diver, has lost three straight matches, two of which to the mighty Milos Raonic. You think he needs to spend more time practicing and not watching guys jump into the water?

Verdasco is expected to return to Europe to meet up with his Spanish countrymen for the Davis Cup tie next weekend in Belgium.

perhaps somewhat unrelated but
can someone please explain why Verdasco was not No.1 in the Trunk last week for his whiney little bitch comments about Raonic after losing in 1r of Memphis

see this is why Tennis X is pissing me off lately

if Federer had said something like that this website would have put him in the junk 52 weeks of the year for it (rather than the usual 48 weeks a year, that is)
