The WTA has just released some footage of the Serena and Venus practicing in Eastbourne for the AEGON International which begins on Monday. If you didn’t believe they’d be playing, believe it now!
Both sisters are unseeded in the very deep draw.
Serena, who hasn’t played a pro match since Wimbledon last year, drew Tsvetana Pironkova. If she beats the Bulgarian she would likely play top seed Vera Zvonareva in the second round. The Russian begins with Brit teen Heather Watson.
Venus, who has been sidelined since the Australian Open because of a bad hip, opens her comeback against No. 8 seed Andrea Petovic. Venus is seeded to play French Open champion Li Na in the quarterfinals. The sisters are on opposite ends of the draw.
