5 Comments for Davis Cup Playoffs: Serbia Goes To India, Spain Travels To Brazil

RZ Says:

Wondering how many of these playoffs will be competitive. At least the doubles between Serbia and India should be fun as both countries have strong doubles players.

Hippy Chic Says:

I still feel a little bitter about team GB,DC is the world cup of tennis, they were in a winning position and blew their chance, its as gutting as when England in football losing in a penalty shoot out 5-4 when they were leading 3-1,pretty boy David Beckham steps up for a spot kick and either hits the post, blasts it wide,or kicks it so softly that he makes it so easy for the keeper to save pftt, the British in sports seem to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory pftt, pftt, pftt, thank goodness Andy won Wimbledon last year….

RZ Says:

@Hippy, yeah it’s too bad that Team GB didn’t make it through, but beating Italy on clay is a tough ask. They did great to win the doubles. Considering that Andy was sick before the first day’s matches, he did great to win day 1 and the doubles with Fleming. The good news is that GB is in the main draw for next year. Hopefully they’ll get a home match or two.

Humble Rafa Says:

My beloved homeland is on this list and it makes me sad.

Hippy Chic Says:

RZ thanks for the feedback, all that tennis Murray played caught up with him in the end,and he had a virus so its not too surprising, and the Italians are good on clay,im hoping he can put in a good defence for the Wimbledon title and he gets in some preperation at Queens Club,at least namby pamby pretty boy Beckham cannot eff it up for England in the World Cup this year been as hes reftired from football thankgoodness….
