Croats Cilic, Coric Lead Way In Budapest; Lajovic Looks To Keep Momentum
Top Croats Marin Cilic and Borna Coric are the top two seeds at the Budapest Open this upcoming week.
The world No. 11 Cilic has struggled this season with just four wins to five defeats having lost five of his last six.
Meanwhile, the 22-year-old Coric has been strong with a 12-6 record on the year and quarters runs at his last two Masters, Miami and Monte Carlo.
Also in the field is defending champion Marco Cecchinato and Top 20 talent Nikolaz Basilashvili.
Ernests Gulbis, Bernard Tomic and Monte Carlo finalist Dusan Lajovic are also in the draw. Lajovic is unseeded and faces wildcard Mate Valkusz.
Six seed and 2018 finalist John Millman returns to face youngster Miomir Kecmanovic.
This is just the third year of the event after it was held in Bucharest.
