Bencic, Sabalenka Lead Shenzhen Field

She is from Belarus but Aryna Sabalenka has been a superstar in China where the 21-year-old has won four of her five career titles, including taking the Shenzhen crown a year ago over Alison Riske.

And Sabalenka along with Belinda Bencic, Qiang Wang and Elise Mertens headline the 2020 edition of Shenzhen.

Both Bencic and Mertens are making their debut at the event while Sabalenka returns for a third straight year. There are the lone Top 20 players in the field.

Former champion Katerina Siniakova and Garbine Muguruza are also in the event.
