Tsitsipas v Alcaraz Showdown Looms Friday In Barcelona

Another rainy day hampered the schedule in Barcelona.

Just two matches were completed. Top seed Stefanos Tsitsipas continued his winning ways dispatching Ilya Ivashka 6-1, 4-6, 6-2. He’ll now get Grigor Dimitrov who ousted Federico Coria in three sets, also in the second round.

Dimitrov will now face Stefanos Tsitsipas in the third round tomorrow.

All players will be in action and that means Carlos Alcaraz returns to battle countryman Jaume Munar. If Alcaraz and Tsitsipas win, they will meet later in the day.

Casper Ruud, Felix Auger Aliassime and Diego Schwartzman are also in action. Schwartzman will face Lorenzo Musetti.
