Well, who will say no to drink a cup of Elixir ? This is the pristine of glory, honour and the ultimate thing every Tennis player is motivated and aspires for, but few corner it in their career despite all the hard work and perseverance they put in. Novak is one of the privileged lot in the annals of Tennis history and he naturally should be proud about it and all that he has achieved so far in a Sport so bitterly contested and competed. All the best to him for the future. I hope he maintains this illustrious streak.

Michael just wondering,the other day you said you believe Novak stands a good chance of surpassing Sampras,did you actually mean Sampras and Rafa as they both have 14 GS,or just Sampras as you believe he could/will probably win more,been as Rafas still an active player,just curious?

Honestly I believe Rafa will not be fixated at 14. He is destined for much more. How much more ? That would be an intriguing question for which one cannot give an convincing answer. But many believe he has the best chance of surpassing Roger’s grand slam haul which is possible considering that all that he needs to win is just 4 more and he is just 28. One good year might do the trick for Rafa. So, Novak is only chasing Borg , Laver and Sampras.

Thanks Michael for your take,but i always think talk of this player surpassing that player is for me a tad unrealistic,i agree he has a better chance of surpassing Roger than anyone else, and i dont believe he will get a better chance,but saying all he has to do is win another 4 is much easier said than done IMO,add to that things get more difficult each year,and new players are begining to make some noise,having said that though it will be interesting to see him give it a try,also you cant rule out the possibility of Roger winning more either,so we will see what the future brings i suppose?
