Andy Roddick, Dwayne Wade Split Tennis-HORSE Challenge
After a year of lighthearted smack talk, Andy Roddick and NBA all-star Dwayne Wade finally had their sports challenge yesterday on site at the Miami Sony Ericsson Open.
Roddick would test Wade’s ability to return his monster serve. But Roddick would then have to match the Heat superstar in a game of H-O-R-S-E with a no-dunk rule enforced.
Roddick naturally won the tennis competition when the Wade, who hadn’t played tennis since high school, was unable to return Roddick’s serve offering (if you watch the video it’s not even close!!).
Wade got revenge beating Roddick on the final letter in the H-O-R-S-E showdown. (HORSE is much easier to pick up then playing tennis!)
“Had a lot of fun playn tennis and bball against a great athlete in @andyroddick. We even 1 to 1,” Wade tweeted.
“Dwayne is one of my favorite athletes and I’m a huge Heat fan so to get him out here on our turf was pretty fun for me,” said Roddick.
