Dustin Brown US Open Interview [Video]
Dustin Brown will take on Andy Murray tomorrow on the biggest court in tennis, the mammoth Arthur Ashe Stadium at the US Open. If you are no familiar with Dustin here’s the video press conference following his first round win.
Brown is the first Jamaican to win a US Open match since Richard Russell in 1968. Dustin, however it sounds like the 25-year-old could one day end up playing for Great Britain.
Says Brown, “The last year has been a very good year for me, and ranked from maybe 400 something to inside the top 100, and that with limited support from federations, limited practice. Either way, I think there’s definitely much more to come. If I get the chance, financial backing, and, you know, have a own coach traveling with me and all sorts of things. So we’ll just see what happens from now.”
Murray had little trouble in a three set win over Lukas Lacko.
