Erma Slemmer Says:

We cannot get FSN in this area, either Comcast nor Verizon carry this channel, and we don’t subscribe to Tennis Channel. What happened to ESPN, they were always there in the past?
We miss not being able to watch tennis on TV again this year!

Sam Says:

I don’t get FSN or Tennis channel either. ESPN is too busy covering March Madness to bother about a silly intenational sport like tennis.

gjc Says:

The Tennis Channel isn’t exactly covering Miami either. Sometimes I wonder why I ever pay the extra each month. Why tennis is not more regarded beats me.

mike brown Says:

i have both the Tennis Channel and FSN but none are offering coverage until saturday….just ridiculous!!!

Charlzz Says:

I’ve heard that full coverage is offered overseas! For an event in the US? It’s amazing how tennis coverage works.

Mary Says:

I agree, what a waste of time and money trying to track down when tv coverage is available. Washington Post simply ignores tennis altogether unless it is a slow news day. Basketball is fine for some…..I cannot finish that sentence. If we can have bass fishing, for goodness sakes, on tv why not tennis?

Betty Mac Kune-Karrer Says:

I second all of the comments made by tennis fans. Tennis Channel should have more coverage of the Miami championship.
I subscribed to Tennis Channel, specifically to get tennis coverage of all of the important games. You should not repeat so much your programs and add more life ones.

Chrys Says:

I finally purchased a package so I could watch tennis on my computer whenever there’s a match…anywhere. Even on the smaller screen and low fidelity sound, it is a total joy to watch a match with limited chatter by those in the booth calling it.
It was a sad day when they moved a lot of tourneys off of USA in favor of ESPN. It appears they’d rather show some trailer trash playing POKER than a world class sporting event like the game of tennis. Tell me please…there is the athleticism in POKER??
Anyway, the computer package was a one-time fee of under $50, and I can watch ALL matches that are in progress anywhere in the world.

Polo Says:

Chrys, will you tell us if you are happy with it? I may get interested. I thought it costs more than $50.

Chrys Says:

Hey Polo,
Well, I have to admit, I don’t recall the exact amount it cost, but I gave up my DISH package with the Tennis Channel a couple of years ago, when I came upon this ad. It may have been $60, but certainly not more than that.
Aside from not being able to back up and replay like you can on the TV, I really LOVE watching tennis on the computer.
I turn it on just a few minutes before the event is scheduled and it’s like really being there. First the kids come out and take their places, then the lines people, then there’s an announcement introducing the players and the umpire…and all this with NO commentary from Brad Gilbert or anyone else.
Right now I have 3 different screens on:
Venus vs. Hantukova
Soderling vs. Petzschner
Verdasco vs.Melzer.
My system does tend to stick sometimes when I have that many screens up at once, so I am working on displaying everything from my laptop onto the TV. I’m not that tekky so we’ll see, LOL!
Here’s the website where I have the access:

Thanks for asking…

E. Meyers Says:

PLEASE, PLEASE,COVER THE SONY ERICSSON!!! I don’t want to see all that other stuff when I good match is going on. I missed Justine and Was.. and now I am missing Roddick! That’s CRAP Coverage! What do you need to do better or put some of the matches on ESPN2 don’t make me miss the games. I am so upset!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

adicecream Says:

I believe the current problem is that Fox Sports has priority for the Miami tournament coverage, and Tennis Channel gets to pick up what Fox doesn’t carry. So in my area, there is no Fox Sports channel. We do get Tennis Channel, so we get the one match per day that Fox doesn’t want. Not much coverage for the alleged 5th major.

I think the answer to get rid of Fox!!

Muriel French Says:

Didn’t get any tennis coverage this Fri. evening as we were promised this afternoon after the Nadal/Roddick match. I understand that our local basketball team would get FSN in our area but why are we subscribing to tennis channel when you don’t cover the weekly tournaments?
