Champions for Chile Highlights [Video]

Congrats to Andy Roddick for his sparkling victory today. And kudos to him for keeping his word and playing in the Champions for Chile yesterday in Miami.

The event raised $125,000 for the Chilean Earthquake victims. Roddick was joined by Jim Courier, Gustavo Kuerten and event organizer Fernando Gonzalez.

Said Courier, “Tennis is one big family, and we’re good about supporting each other. Initiatives like this in a time of crisis, we’re lucky we have a platform to raise money and raise awareness.”


Kuerten said, “The cause was the most important thing. It motivated me to come out here. I love being involved in causes like this, so for me, it was a great opportunity.”

Unfortunately the event was not televised that I’m aware of (at least not nationally in the U.S.) so I present to you some highlights courtesy of the ATP:
