Budding romantics Caroline Wozniacki and Rory McIlroy have made it crystal clear of their relationship after the New Haven tournament released this photo tonight of the couple kissing.

“What a moment with @CaroWozniacki & @McIlroyRory in front of the Yale Football team at the New Haven Open! #nho11” posted the New Haven twitter account. And what a moment it was.

The pic shows Wozniacki and McIlroy swapping spit in front of the Yale football team shortly after Caroline won her semifinal match over Francesca Schiavone. Why the tournament would actually release a photo like is questionable, but it will likely earn far more publicity then the final which will feature Wozniacki against Petra Cetkovska tomorrow.

“It’s great to have him there,” Caroline said of Rory Thursday. “It’s great to have someone who understands. It’s pretty unusual situation to be in at such a young age. Rory has achieved something very remarkable and great already, winning the U.S. Open at such a young age in golf. It’s something unheard of. It’s just great helping each other to keep the feet on the ground, even though that’s not so difficult. You know, it’s nice to have him here.”

Wozniacki and McIlroy first met during Wimbledon in early July.
