A few more months off the tour may help Vika get over her various injuries. Hopefully she can come back strong and defend her Indian Wells and Miami points.

I don’t know if a comeback is in the cards for her. Victoria is injury prone and a slow healer, plus she’s near 30 years old. Maybe, if she keeps in great shape throughout her pregnancy and doesn’t gain too much weight (i.e. Sarah Stage) she may have a chance of returning and winning at least 1-2 more majors. The most important thing is a healthy pregnancy and a healthy Mom, Dad and Baby. Congrats!

I can’t believe so many people are “excited” about this. Having a baby without being married (and worse, not knowing who the father is because you hang out with so many men) is bad for the baby.

Coming from a conservative Spanish culture, Humble cannot tolerate this type of behavior.

Just imagined what Redfoo’s baby would look like…let’s just say it will be a hairy situation.

On Vika..happy for her, but many people belief (inc mine) that back in 2013 she was bound to take over from Serena very soon has vanished. Injuries, rough emotional times, now a pregnancy at 27 makes a comeback to the Top 5 at age 30 seem more like wishful thinking than incisive thinking.

I always thought Vika would be a perfect spokeswoman for HOOters. I never seemed to mind her semi-musical hooting (continuous e-note acc. to ex-BF Redfoo) that offensive compared to Screamapova, Venus’s banshee shrieks of intimidation, or Serena’s water buffalo bellowing. But plenty did. Now that Maria and Vika are gone perhaps forever, Venus near retiring and unable to muster the energy to shriek to scare foes like she used to, and Serena working hard to avoid grunting & be more congenial – maybe it is time for the WTA to end it. Warning, points deducted, large fines for doing it repeatedly. It is bad for WTA ratings.

HumbelRafa- Azarenka is a grown woman in her late 20 with the financial means of caring for a child. She is not an uneducated teen mother like those glorified on MTV’s Teen Mom, et al. She is an adult who I presume found a man and a partner who, like Vika, is not ready for marriage. Your self piety is tiresome. Why not use your energy to volunteer to help teen unwed mothers. You might learn something.

Your comment leads to me wonder if you are truly Spanish or are you among those from South and Central America who speak Spanish as a language but are by no means Spanish. Spanish women are pretty well educated, and that demographic knows that countless professional women in Spain — true Spaniards — who’ve chosen to become mothers without marriage. These women include attorneys, physicians, entrepreneurs, architects and more.Instead they are in rich and fulfilling relationships with their partners and both are actively engaged in the lives of their children. Why not focus on living your life without judgment and instead work to make the world a better place for all. As for RedFoo and the hairy situation comment, I am not sure what the baby would look like. I’d hope that he’d have the intellect and entrepreneurial spirit of his grandfather, a man worth between $350-400million. Just saying.
