Chile’s Cristian Garin came from a set down to stun home hero Diego Schwartzman 2-6, 6-4, 6-0 to win the Cordoba title.

Garin’s win was the third of his career, all on clay and all in three sets.

The 23-year-old Garin is now 2-1 against Schwartzman on clay. And the title turned around a poor start. Garin was just 1-5 entering the event.

The 31st-ranked Garin is now projected to reach a new career-high of No. 27.

Schwartzman’s bid for a fourth career title. The 27-year-old falls to 3-5 in ATP Finals and 0-2 in Argentina.
