Djokovic, Nadal Hit Wimbledon Centre Court
For the first time Wimbledon is allowing players to practice on Centre Court ahead of the opening day Monday.
And two former champions — rivals and favorites Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal — took advantage of the new Wimbledon policy.
Nadal shook off any foot issues and concerns returning to Centre Court for the first time since 2019. With a shot at the Calendar Slam still in the picture, the 2-time champion let it rip with 2021 finalist Matteo Berrettini.

Djokovic was out there with another finalist, Marin Cilic.
Novak Djokovic & Marin Cilic practicing on Center Court. Not normally a big deal but for Wimbledon it is, as it’s the 1st time competitors have been allowed to practice on the hallowed surface before the event starts. In my time coming here, at least. Djokovic and Nadal will be the Top 2 seeds when the draw is made Friday morning in London. Djokovic is expected to play on Monday while Nadal will open his Wimbledon campaign on Tuesday.
