A trio of US Open champions will lead the field this week for the ATP 500 event in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Fresh off a second straight title, Novak Djokovic brings an 11-match tournament win streak into Kazakhstan but the Serb may have to deal with the last two US Open champions, Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev.

Alcaraz will play his first tournament match since his incredible US Open title run last month.

Medvedev remains working out the kinks. The former No. 1 has just one title since that US Open win, that coming over the summer in Los Cabos.

Stefanos Tsitsipas, Andrey Rublev, Hubert Hurkacz, Felix Auger-Aliassime and Stan Wawrinka also feature in this loaded field.

Djokovic will open against Cristian Garin. He could face Marin Cilic in the quarters with either Auger-Aliassime or Medvedev in the semifinals.

Medvedev will start with Albert Ramos Vinolas.

The top-seeded Alcaraz will begin against fellow 19-year-old Holger Rune. He then could meet Wawrinka in the second round, Rublev in the quarters and Tsitsipas in the semifinals.
