The 2023 men’s ATP Tour season comes to a close on Sunday with the year-end championship event in Turin, Italy. The 2023 ATP Finals figure to be extra special with the debut of Carlos Alcaraz who missed the 2022 event due to the injury.

The Spaniard will have to run the table to the title going 5-0 to have any chance to finish No. 1. Otherwise, all Novak Djokovic has to do to end the year on top for an eighth time is win one match.

Djokovic will also be looking to break the tie he and the great Roger Federer share for most ATP Finals titles with six. Djokovic won the ATP Finals last year defeating Casper Ruud who did not make it this year.

Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Holger Rune will be playing their first ATP Finals. Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev are the four former champions in the field.

Here’s the ATP Finals 8-man field:
1 Novak Djokovic: After 40th Masters 1000 title, seeks 7th finale crown
2 Carlos Alcaraz: Chasing 7th title of year as he makes Turin debut
3 Daniil Medvedev: 2020 champ comes in with 5 titles on the season
4 Jannik Sinner: Home favourite qualifies for the first time
5 Andrey Rublev: Will make fourth straight finale appearance
6 Stefanos Tsitsipas: ’19 champ tops 50 wins for 3rd straight year
