Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic Monte Carlo Pre-Tournament Interviews [Video]
The top two seeds Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal both did video interviews with the ATP ahead of their first match at the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters.
Neither player said much. Nadal was never asked about his knees or his wisdom tooth. Djokovic didn’t get quizzed on the Todd Martin situation or his serve.
Nadal has won Monte Carlo five straight times and as Djokovic reminded us, he lost just twice on clay last year.
Novak was a Monte Carlo finalist in 2009 and as he says he grew up on the clay.
Both players will open the clay season on Wednesday.
