Anna Kournikova is back in the news! The sexy tennis babe is featured on the cover of the October issue of Maxim magazine. What’s even more notable is that it’s the first 3D issue Maxim’s ever printed. So, yup, that means Anna Kournikova in 3D!

Wrote Kournikova on her blog, “We actually put together this shoot quite quickly to make the October cover, which was to be their first ever 3D issue. I had a great time even though the working conditions were somewhat tough, it rained on and off all day (that’s just summertime in Miami!).”

Here’s a brief snippet from the Q&A the magazine conducted with the curvy Kournikova: “Q: After living in America for most of your life, you finally became a citizen. What took you so long? A: You know, I’ve always considered myself half Russian and half American. It never seemed to really matter if I had a passport or not. But when I started working with the USO and the troops overseas, it just seemed the logical next step…”

The 29-year-old Kournikova says she still plays a lot of tennis, and it shows because her body still looks fab. Kournikova has also served multiple USO (United Service Organizations) tours.

If you haven’t already seen it, here’s video of the Kournikova Maxim shoot. Unfortunately, guys, there’s no 3D effect but the magazine comes with the cheap-o 3D glasses.
