Oldie But Goldie: Roger Federer Does his Best John Travolta [Video]

For some Good Friday video fun, let’s turn back the clock circa 2009 for this Gillette razor ad featuring three very prominent sports celebs. There’s Derek Jeter. There’s Tiger Woods. And there’s…Oh my, it’s Roger Federer. HAHA!!

Yes, it’s really Federer wearing a nasty pair of platform shoes, a gold chain and a leather jacket with a giant red-shirted collar. Unbelievable.

The video of course is a take off on the infamous opening scene of “Stayin Alive” (best part of the movie!) which has John Travolta walking down the street to the beat of the Bee Gees and getting a slice of pizza and checking out the ladies.

But Federer is absolutely hilarious looking in this role. I’m surprised I’ve never seen that video until today.

A very big thanks to youtube user lank3aa for reviving this one. What a laugh.

Yeah, max. I hope roger is having some good practice, training and whatever else he needs to be strong again. I hope he does as much as you can in two weeks to improve.
