After a marathon 4-set win Monday over Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic still had enough energy to make the rounds at a variety of media outlets in New York City Tuesday morning to trumpet his big win.
Said Djokovic summing up his US Open win: “There is a lot more to prove, a lot more tournaments to win. As long as I have the desire to win, to go out there on the court and have the feeling that I’ve had so far in my career – that is to win every single match that I play in – as long as I have that, I’ll be competing. I’ll always have the high ambitions to win every major that I play because I think I proved now more than ever that I have the ability to win major events and to play equally well on different kinds of surfaces. And that positive attitude and self-belief brought me to this place right now and I need to maintain that. I need to keep believing that I can win more.”
Djokovic and his team hit the CBS Early show to chat with hosts Erica Hill and Chris Wragge.Djokovic also visited the Regis and Kelly show:
