So Maria Sharapova And Grigor Dimitrov Have Broken Up?

The speculation is spreading that tennis’s top couple Maria Sharapova and Grigor Dimitrov have split up. Just before the US Open the two unfollowed each on twitter – that’s right, how dare they! And during the event in New York the two did not speak of the other nor were they photographed anywhere (that I could find) together. A surprise when you consider all the social events that surround the event and high profile of both players.
And while they did play on the same days, neither was spotted watching the other at their matches like they were at earlier events at Queen’s and Wimbledon. The two both lost in the fourth round, Sharapova to Caroline Wozniacki and Dimitrov to Gael Monfils.
Earlier in the summer Sharapova hinted that she’d play doubles with her boyfriend Dimitrov. But that tune changed in NY when the 27-year-old asked to be paired with John McEnroe and not the Bulgarian!
After spending time in Mexico this summer and at the ESPYs, circumstantial evidence now suggests their romance is now on the rocks. So did they really break up?
Sharapova and Dimitrov began dating in late 2012.
