Rafael Nadal Arrives In Kazakhstan For His Exo Match Today Against Tsonga [Video]

Rafael Nadal arrived in Kazakhstan yesterday for a scheduled Thursday exhibition match against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in Astana. The Spanish star hasn’t played since Wimbledon after missing the US summer swing due to a right wrist injury.

Nadal is expected to fly to Beijing for the China Open after the match. He’s also scheduled to play in Shanghai in two weeks.

Great to see Rafa on the court as he was much missed by millions around the world!

Some fun exchanges there but I have to say that must be the smallest Tennis arena I have seen hosting some major names of the Sport.

Tennis must be a underplayed/underfunded Sport in Kazakhistan, so Rafa and Jo going there should be a welcome boost for the Kazakhistan Tennis Federation and also a nice chance for the folks from there to see some elite players.

Good occasion all round!

I would love to watch Rafa in a small arena…..the venue would be more up close and personal…..I do believe he is sporting a new do……and the shirt was very much sleeved…..the sleeveless one……where is it??
