3) Rafael Nadal
4) Stan Wawrinka
5) Kei Nishikori
6) Andy Murray
7) Tomas Berdych
8) Milos Raonic
9) Marin Cilic
10) David Ferrer

9. Grigor Dimitrov
10. Juan Martin Del Potro

4.Roger Federer.
5.Kei Nisikori.
6.Stan Wawarinka.
7.Tomas Berdych.
8.Marin Cilic.
9.Grigor Dimitrov.
10.Milos Raonic.

I think Dimitrov will have a year, where he will get up into top 10 by the end of 2015,on the other hand i like him but i think Ferrer will fall out of the top 10 by the end of the year, and Delpo as much as i like him too i think a top 10 finish is over ambitious,a top 30/20 is more realistic at this point, the guys not even played yet,is ranked 137 or so?and rumour has it that the wrist is still an issue?again happy to be proved wrong, thats what i saw in my crystal ball lol….

Ray Bundell Says:

3 R.Federer
4 K.Nishikori
5 A.Murray
6 S.Wawrinka
7 M.Raonic
8 T.Berdych
9 G.Dimitrov
10 E.Gulbis

I think that this year Gulbis will get some more points from the Slams. He has the ability to get in the top 10 but he need to work on his mindset, on the other hand Cilic coached by Ivanisevic should get in the top aswell but I can’t see him repeat the performance in the US Open again. Hope I will see Kyrgios in top 20 and B.Coric in top 30.

Daniel Says:

1. Novak Djokovic
2. Rafael Nadal
3. Roger Federer
4. Andy Murray
5. Kei Nishikori
6. Stan Wawrinka
7. Milos Raonic
8. Marin Cilic
9. Grigor Dimitrov
10.Thomas Berdych

To me Ferrer is out, and want to place Berdych out to, but he will still do good use of his high ranking and get to enough quarters and a few runner ups (we all know he ain’t winning titles) to be in the ten.
Dimitrov is due to deliver and Raonic also seems on a rise. Key is there for staying and so is Cilic, both bare injury.

Agree with HC, DelPo is the question mark this season, he can finish top 5 if everything goes well, but realistically some place between 10-20.

The others are getting old and never deliver before so can’t see than climbing now. Maybe a young guy rises, that will be a welcome refreshment at the top.

10.Jerzy Janowicz

U can call me crazy, but I do think neither Raonic nor Cilic will defend their points next year. I predict some big leaps in the rankings (Janowicz – not so many points to defend, Del Potro – he would like to come back to top 10 as quickly as possible, Coric – big talent that needs more experience, Thiem and maybe Kyrgios).
What’s more, I hope for a Grand Slam Title for Roger. And even if that happens, Rafa and Novak will still be higher than him in the ranking because of their consistency.

I wish a great tennis season to all of U!

It is definitely a lottery to forecast an outcome and your premonitions are based on your perception and past statistics which guide your future inference.Where I can go horribly wrong is if Roger manages to replicate his 2014 performance or some body in the top suffers from physical problems, then all predictions are bound to go for a toss. But let us hope that things are even and it would be sheer performance which would determine the outcomes.

jane Says:

wow, that so many are picking nole to end year-end-#1 again is awesome. i hope your crystal balls are right! :)

still need to think on this more, but as for the top three, fed’s best chance to grab #1 is actually early in the season, around clay, when nole/rafa have a lot to defend. if he keeps it close until then, he could do it. but he’ll have a lot of points defend from halle onward.

rafa’s best chance to overtake #1 is any time from wimbledon until the end of the year, when he has very little to defend. if he plays very well in the latter half of the year and plays his normal level prior to that (which is also great, but i mean wins-wise), he has an excellent chance of ending #1, because fed and nole have a lot to defend from summer onward.

nole has some space in each third of the season to pick up some points, like at the AO or dubai he could gain, at madrid, which he didn’t play at all, or during the north american summer hard courts (canada, cincy, us open) where he didn’t do nearly as well as he normally does. nevertheless, he has lots to defend, obviously, too.

andy has plenty to gain; i am kind of surprised most aren’t moving him up to the top 4, although i understand his form has been iffy in 2014. still. i think he moves up.

Hippy Chick Says:

Just few months ago Nole was declared goner, in decline, will never be same again, you name it, and only because he got married and was expecting the birth of his first child:) I think only mat4 said that Nole can be only better player after getting married and having a first child with Jelena, I guess mat4 knows our mentality better than the rest since he lived in the Balkans. Are you around mat4? You were right.
