World No. 1 Novak Djokovic dawned a new look for this Peugeot ad spot:

Luckily for all of us, it was just a dream!

Seeking that first French Open, the world No. 1 will play Thanashi Kokkinakis Saturday in the third round.

Very French… Very entertaining. :-)

My favourite Djokovic ad will forever be the one with the nipple-tassels. That was fun. :-)

lol, those weird shoes and collars. i’d be ripping them off as well. i read recently that pointy shoes were considered a status symbol in the past. perhaps in-grown toenails were as well. ;)

Peugeot pulled out of N America years ago, but they are now the 2nd most popular brand in Europe and a big player in Africa and Latin America.
Ad was crafted for that audience, not America. French ads are a little weird. If you have ever seen many, the Japan ads are way weird.
Agree with Yolanda – Head Equipment had Djoker in some great irreverent ads in the early years. Unfortunately he had to tone it down, learning that Fed “tasteful” and Fedlike gravitas broadens appeal to other potential endorsers.
Head may be doing a “crossover” commercial on the skiing Djokovic family. They already tricked out the whole clan with Head gear.
The best bang for the buck has to be Japanese clothier and style emporium UniQlo. They not only got #1 Nole, they got Kei as an endorser well before he became a superstar in Asia.

Wog Boy Says:

Peugeot is popular in Australia too, particularly with ladies. As for Uniqlo, it is a pity you can’t buy Nole’s or Kei’s or Scott Adams gear in their shops, only online. They opened new big shop here, but sell stuff without badges, that is their philosophy, it is good stuff, cheap but you wouldn’t know it is Uniqlo unless you turn your pants (or shirt) inside out.

Wog Boy Says:

^^ “Adam Scott”
