Victoria Azarenka Withdraws From Washington

Former No. 1 Victoria Azarenka withdrew yesterday from the Washington WTA event which begins next week. Azarenka, who turns 26 today, cited a right shoulder injury as the reason.

Also withdrawing from the combined women/men’s event were Daniela Hantuchova and Thanasi Kokkinakis.

Kei Nishikori, Andy Murray, Marin Cilic, John Isner, Tommy Haas and Eugenie Bouchard are among the names still entered into the event.
