Tsitsipas Makes Debut At ATP Los Cabos, Former Champion Norrie Returns

Stefanos Tsitsipas opens summer hard court season in Mexico. The Greek star has never played at Los Cabos before, but has had success in Acapulco.

Second-seeded Cameron Norrie is no stranger to Los Caboas. The Brit won the title in 2021 and made the finals last year. He’s 11-3 overall at the tournament.

Also in the draw are Americans Tommy Paul and John Isner and Acapulco winner Alex De Minaur.


Here are the seeds: 1 Stefanos Tsitsipas, 2 Cameron Norrie, 3 Tommy Paul, 4 Borna Coric, 5 Alex De Minaur, 6 Nicolas Jarry, 7 Dominik Koepfer, 8 Ilya Ivashka.

No. 1 Tsitsipas is projected to meet 6 Jarry in the quarters, No. 4 Coric – 8 Ivashka, No. 5 De Minaur – 3 Paul, and 7 seed Koepfer – 2 Norrie in the bottom quarter.

The semifinals could shape up with Stefanos Tsitsipas-Borna Coric and Cameron Norrie-Tommy Paul.

The top seeded Tsitsipas has a bye before the Rinky Hijikata-John Isner winner.

Last year, (1) Daniil Medvedev defeated (3) Cameron Norrie 7-5, 6-0.

In its short history, the tournament has never had some win the title twice.
