2024 Cincinnati Masters Semifinals: Swiatek v Sabalenka, Sinner v Zverev

It’s semifinal Sunday at the Cincinnati Masters. The final big event before the US Open features both No. 1s Iga Swiatek and Jannik Sinner in big showdowns.
Swiatek meets rival Aryna Sabalenka for a 12th time. Swiatek leads 8-3 winning their last three.
In the second semifinal, the streaking Jessica Pegula battles Paula Badosa. Both are in form with Pegula just winning the Canadian Open while Badosa won Washington.
Pegula has won both meetings.
In the men’s semifinal, Sinner collides with former Cincinnati winner Alexander Zverev. The big German has won four of five winning the last four but they haven’t met since the US Open last year when Zverev won in five.
In the evening, American star Frances Tiafoe is getting hot at the right time. Under new coach David Witt, Tiafoe takes on Holger Rune in a first-time meeting.
