2025 US Open Tennis Odds – Men, Women
The US Open is final Major of the 2025 tennis season.
Who Are The Men’s Betting Favorites?
After the first three Slams, we learned that on the men’s side it truly is a 2-horse race between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.
Sure, Novak Djokovic is lurking and Daniil Medvedev is there plus a host of Americans on the rise like 2024 finalist Taylor Fritz, Ben Shelton, Tommy Paul and 2-time semifinalist Frances Tiafoe. But the men’s title will likely go through Sinner and/or Alcaraz who has split the last six Slams.
Who Are The Women’s Betting Favorites?
The women’s side is far more open. Aryna Sabalenka is still the favorite but the Belarussian has yet to claim a Slam on the season suffering disappointment losing to Americans in all 3 Majors this year.
Coco Gauff just won the French Open and Iga Swiatek found the range at Wimbledon. Both former champions will be a factor.
Outside of those three, it’s perhaps Mirra Andreeva, Madison Keys, and Elena Rybakina.
The tournament begins on Sunday, August 24.

How Do You Read US Open Odds?
Understanding sports odds in general can be a dauting challenge for many fans. For tennis odds, when there is a plus sign (+), that indicates how much money you would win putting $100 down. When there is a minus sign (-), that means you have to put that much down to win $100.
So at the US Open, if Carlos Alcaraz is +150, that means if you bet $100, if he won again you would get back $250 ($100 for your bet plus the $150 in winnings). If Iga Swiatek was -250 to win the US Open, and you put $250 down, if Swiatek won the title you would get back $350 ($250 in your initial bet plus $100 for the win).
When reading fractional odds -- let's say Novak Djokovic is 5/2 -- the first number (in this case 5) is the profit and the second number (in this case 2) is what you need to put down to get that. So if you put $2 down on Djokovic, you would get back $7 in total if he won ($2 is your bet plus the $5 for winning).
Now if Aryna Sabalenka was 2/7, if you put $7 down and she won you would get back $9 ($7 your initial bet plus $2 for the win).
