2024 Monte Carlo Masters Tennis Odds
The first clay Masters event of 2024 begins on Sunday, March 7 at the famed Monte Carlo Country Club which will host the Monte Carlo Masters.
The men’s only event often features the best in tennis for the official start of the 2-month spring red clay season.
Who Are The Men’s Betting Favorites?
11-time champion Rafael Nadal is the king of the event, but with his hip/back still a problem he has withdrawn from the event.
Novak Djokovic, a local resident, is a 2-time winner but hasn’t taken the trophy since 2015. Stefanos Tsitsipas is also twice champion winning in 2021 and 2022 with Andrey Rublev the defending champion, but neither are true favorites this time.
That title will belong to recent Miami winner Jannik Sinner and Indian Wells champion Carlos Alcaraz. So there’s a very strong chance of a new, first-time Monte Carlo champion this year.
The tournament begins on Sunday, April 7.

How Do You Read Monte Carlo Masters Odds?
Understanding sports odds in general can be a dauting challenge for many fans. For tennis odds, when there is a plus sign (+), that indicates how much money you would win putting $100 down. When there is a minus sign (-), that means you have to put that much down to win $100.
So at the Monte Carlo Masters, if Carlos Alcaraz is +150, that means if you bet $100, if he won again you would get back $250 ($100 for your bet plus the $150 in winnings). If Iga Swiatek was -250 to win the Monte Carlo Masters, and you put $250 down, if Swiatek won the title you would get back $350 ($250 in your initial bet plus $100 for the win).
When reading fractional odds -- let's say Novak Djokovic is 5/2 -- the first number (in this case 5) is the profit and the second number (in this case 2) is what you need to put down to get that. So if you put $2 down on Djokovic, you would get back $7 in total if he won ($2 is your bet plus the $5 for winning).
Now if Aryna Sabalenka was 2/7, if you put $7 down and she won you would get back $9 ($7 your initial bet plus $2 for the win).
