Bravo/NBC Olympics Tennis TV Schedule
by Staff | July 24th, 2012, 5:09 pm

Cable channel Bravo will be the exclusive home to Olympic tennis starting this Saturday in the U.S. The network, owned by Olympic host broadcaster NBC, is scheduled to air 56 hours of tennis coverage from the first round Saturday, July 28 through to the semifinal matches on Friday, August 3.

Things get a little more complicated on the final medal weekend. On Saturday NBC will broadcast the women’s singles gold medal match, then NBC Sports Network will televise the men’s doubles gold.

Have your remote handy on Sunday when three different NBC channels will air Olympic tennis. NBC will offer live coverage of men’s gold medal match at 9am ET. Around that, NBC Sports Network will air doubles gold medal matches for mixed and women’s. MSNBC will have coverage of the men’s singles bronze during the mixed final.

Bravo/NBC’s talent line-up consists of Justin Gimelston, Rennae Stubbs, Brett Haber, Andrew Catalon, reporter Jon Wertheim and studio host Pat O’Brien. The familiar duo of Ted Robinson and John McEnroe will slide in from their other Olympic duties to call the men’s gold medal match Sunday.

It’s 11:45 am and some trashy reality show is on Bravo…where’s the tennis?!?!?!

CC Scarbrough Says:

Very upset by the lack of women commentators. The ones you have get seconds while the male commentators not only dominate but the discussion of the male players dominate. This sexism sucks.

CC Scarbrough Says:

What a bas****. The Official Male Commentator just made a crappy comment about the First Lady of the United States. He said that her husband will be glad to know she got the sports terms right, Opening CeremoNY and WimbleDON. Those are sports terms and what did he expect? Where did you all get this guy? I can’t believe the continued denegation of women.

Woz Says:

Who is the moron who put on mens doubles, instead of

At least show the ENTIRE MATCH on replay in need be.

Woz2 Says:

Woz22 Says:

Woz22 Says:

on replay… ENTIRE MATCH!

Jo Says:

You are showing Federer and Djokovic, Sharapova, etc. Why not Clijsters? online streaming is not same as television

Jo Says:

Couldn’t you get a USA woman tennis Pro to commentate? A lot of good ones out there, you know.

Victoria Says:

Could the bosses at Bravo, if there are any sober, intelligent ones, kindly tell pat o’brien to stop mumbling and mis-pronouncing names during the tennis coverage and that Andy Murray is representing Great Britain not England – poor choice for a host !

Barbara Says:

Pat obrien is terrible,

kbw Says:

Yes, a true embarassment.

Roger Federer Meets Andy Murray For Olympic Gold And Even More GOATness, Who’s The Pick? Says:

[...] will have the men’s final live at 9am ET. You check our Olympic tennis TV schedule for showtimes of the other matches including the Williams sisters [...]

Diane Holt Says:

SO Agree with CC Scarbrough. Pat O’Brien needs counseling from Billie Jean King. Or better yet, don’t have him back again. Unbelievably sexist comments about Michelle Obama and generally toward all women. And she is a bigger tennis fan than her hubby anyway !! Get rid of Pat please.
