Janko Tipsarevic hits a pure ace down the middle with his imitation of Novak Djokovic commanding his coaching team. The skit took place during the ATP Player Show in Monte Carlo last week when the pros annually gather to put on a series of skits all in good fun.
In this performance, Tipsarevic lays into his good friend Novak who is known for imitating the players on court. Turn around is fair play!
The video starts with Janko/Novak on the phone with Robert DeNiro, a friend of Djokovic’s.
He then explains to his team that he’s “cursed” and he “can’t sleep at night” because he’s losing sets at tournaments. He adds that he’s happy to give his fellow Serbs games, but not sets!
Janko goes on to reveal that Serbia needs Novak to run the country, because he’s a “national treasure for crying out loud”.
Throughout the skit, Janko makes fun of Novak’s breathing and stretching. Hilarious stuff and the player audience agrees.
