After Winning French Open, Rafael Nadal Goes to Disneyland [Video]
Shortly after capturing his 6th French Open title, Rafael Nadal found time to trek to Disneyland for a special appearance. With trophy in hand, Nadal posed with children and of course Mickey Mouse.
“I’m not in a position to ask him for anything, I have more than I ever dreamed,” Nadal said. “The only thing would be good health, which is the most important thing.”
Nadal, who now has a total of 10 career Grand Slam titles and leads Federer now 17-8 in their series, is already practicing at Queen’s Club in London.
The defending Wimbledon champion will begin his grass season later today in doubles, then tomorrow he’ll play singles against Australian 23-year-old Matthew Ebden.
“Now I have to work a little bit on grass,” Nadal said Sunday in Paris. “You know, is always a big change. Even if I had success on grass last years, for me is a big change all the time. So I have to adapt my game another time and try to remember what I did well on grass, why I played well on grass, what I have to do to have the same feeling another time there.
“So for me, win here makes me play Queen’s and Wimbledon with less pressure. Not for that with less allusion or less motivation.”
