Roger Federer Weighs In On Nadal’s Comeback, Wishes Rafa Had Returned As A Right-Hander! [Video]
During his ABN AMRO Rotterdam presser yesterday, Roger Federer weighed in on his good friend Rafael Nadal’s recent comeback to pro tennis. Federer jokes that he was hoping Rafa would return as a right-hander, but then
“I didn’t see any match he played, I saw a few pictures,” Federer joked. “He looked good. Nice shirt. He’s still a left-hander. I was hoping he came back as a right-hander maybe, but he didn’t.”
Turning serious, Federer did say he was surprised by the loss to Horacio Zeballos. But he added that Rafa’s playing well again and that he’ll use what he learned in Chile to improve his game.
