Today Is The 10-Year Anniversary Of Roger Federer First Becoming No. 1
The ATP released a special page today in recognition of the 10-year anniversary of Roger Federer first reaching the No. 1 ranking which happened on February 2, 2004.
Then just 22, Federer had just defeated Marat Safin to win his first Australian Open title, second Grand Slam, to move him past Andy Roddick for the top ranking.
Federer went on to rank No. 1 for 302 weeks, most recently in November of 2012.
