Grigor Dimitrov And Genie Bouchard Get Wet Together In Acapulco, Is Maria Jealous? [Video]

Budding stars Grigor Dimitrov and Genie Bouchard spent an afternoon in Acapulco playing tennis on a makeshift court in the water.

“This is definitely the best experience I’ve ever had on tour,” said Dimitrov who dates Maria Sharapova. “I was happy to be able to do something like this. It is pretty special and we definitely have something to talk about in the future. It was nice to get to do this in such good weather, great city. It was very exciting!”

Prior to splashdown, the pair shared a helicopter ride en route to the Acapulco Bay.


Both players are in first round action today in Acapulco.

They do seem like a nice match.

Is Maria jealous,i dont know?but although Genies career is just begining to blosom and is on the up,it seems Marias career could be going the other way,as she hasnt won a GS since the FO in 2012,and made only one final since and that was the FO in 2013 losing as she always does to Serena,Maria is in danger of having her thunder stolen by another pretty blonde pin up starlet of the ATP tour, thats years younger than she is,as i say i dont know if she is jealous,but i doubt she will be happy about it either,i look forward to their next meeting on court with relish.

Genie played the game, “would rather,” on CTV recently and was asked who she would rather go to dinner with, Federer or Nadal and her answer was Roger Federer. She is a huge Federer fan, she says. They did not offer her the Dimitrov option.

She idol is Maria Sharapova.
