Tommy Robredo Gave Andy Murray The Double Bird After Losing To The Scot In The Valencia Final [Video]
Tommy Robredo probably doesn’t want to see Andy Murray anytime soon. And who can blame him? After blowing five matchpoints in a loss to Murray a month ago in the Shenzhen final, Robredo had revenge on his mind today in the Valencia, Spain final.
But would you believe Robredo once again blew five matchpoints this time losing to Murray in a final set tiebreaker 3-6, 7-6(7), 7-6(8).
The match, one of the best ATP finals of 2014, went 3-hours, 20-minutes with Murray taking home his third ATP title in his last five events and virtually securing a spot in London.
But Robredo’s perfect reaction may be what’s most remembered from this incredible final. And that’s 10 blown matchpoints in his last two matches against Murray, both in finals!
