Caroline Wozniacki is currently close to completing her first NYC Marathon this afternoon. But in preparation, Wozniacki joined her BFF and the woman she lost to a week ago in the Singapore semifinals, Serena Williams, for a NY Rangers hockey game last night.

Reunited and it feels so good…. @carowozniacki

Hippy Chick Says:

Congrats on completing the marathon Caroline, quite a nice friendship going on with Serena, although i think she needs to distance herself a bit,if she is to turn things around in her favour….

TennisVagabond.com Says:

Its great to see a top women’s player having fun, they often seem so cocooned from normal life. Her friendship with Serena is absolutely unique in top tier tennis, male or female. I’m not a huge fan of either, but I think its a great groundbreaking example they’re setting.
Frankly, I’ve never bought the idea of needing emotional distance from an opponent. In any sport, I’ve always relished competing against friends as much as any stranger.
