Ill put this in the off topic thread, just wanted to say to my fellow Rafa fans Okie, Giles etc, that my managers son was on holiday recently, and he happened to run into Rafael Nadal and had his picture taken with Rafa and Xisca, and that Rafa was really nice and a perfect gentleman, he also told Rafa that one of my mums work colleagues is a huge besotted fan of his lol ;-), sorry just wanted to share this with my fellow Rafa fans ….

He almost did not have a nose………Word was out that he bleached his skin to look white but then it was also said he had a skin disorder. I can’t recall the medical term for it. Yep another “Fake News” media lie. Truth: He had a condition called “vitiligo, a skin pigmentation disease” noted via CNN. Found it in his autopsy. He used a bleaching agent to even out his skin.
Ok, I don’t disagree the guy had his weird side( keep in mind he was a SupersStar at 8-9 years old, so I think we all would grow up a little “weird”), but has an adult performer, he was pushing the envelope in music and entertainment. Dancing, appearance and music. And a lot of other performers followed him.
One small trivia note many don’t know. Of all the songs he created, he did not play any instruments( I believe the one time he played a piano part in a demo that got released, he repeatedly just hit two notes, lol ). When a song came into his head, he had the ability to make the sounds he wanted to hear by making the sounds of the instruments, even instruments in an orchestra. He would often record those sounds for the musicians and tell them to play…… that. I mean, who does….. that? :)

@skeeze, when you speak about his life story being amazing, do you mean there is some kinda documentary or book regarding it? Btw MJ was my favourite celebrity when growing up. He was a genius. I still remember the shock when I learned about his demise.
Skeezer: I worked for the Vitiligo Society when I was in London
and one of the Board who had the condition knew MJ in that connection. She was also on the English Committee that approved, or otherwise the use of skin products in relation to vitiligo and other skin conditions.
Overall, vitiligo sufferers were highly sensitive and phone calls to the Society for help were heart-rending, especially when the condition affected their face.

There are many others, just stay away from those that are fan based written, they get to adoring and not enough about the real stories.

It’s mostly about the last year with his kids, written by his bodyguards at the time. Very insightful about the man.

Skeezer: Getting it on the legs being male, not as bad as the face – it’s usually less obvious on fairish skins – still, it is never welcome and it is an odd condition – a lot of women with similar heritage covered their faces with thick tan make-up and suffered continuously from inferiority complexes.

She became a bigger drug addict after meeting him again in the 1990s. Aaron Carter also learned to smoke marijuana at Pedoland.
Jackson drank liquor and injected massive amounts of drugs. He had Propofol since the 1990s. Don’t cry about any injury. Don’t excuse his behavior when he agreed to be responsible for 3 kids.
Well, when the word pedophile is brought up.,..there is zero tolerance in my books. All the MJ hoopla was very suspicious, guilty or not. I worked in the judicial system for 30 years and do believe strongly in innocent until proven guilty…….Having said that……Back In the good old days the place to do your laundry had the early wringer type machine. Those things kept the moms very busy. The man who owned the laundry happened to be a dirty old man, his house was next door and he took me there to get me some candy. I was 4 yrs old and he sexually molested me. It happened only one time. I only have just come out about this in the last few years. I was sharing it with a life long friend and she said she was molested by her grandfather….I said no wonder you have an angry side. So sorry if I can’t get on MJ praise train…. if there was one chance in a billion he did inappropriate things to a young child…..well, it breaks my heart right in half…..Don’t know if he did or didn’t, but what kid wouldn’t want to go to a mini Disneyland?? It’s akin to a spiderweb…..I never said he wasn’t a great entertaininer and will admit he had a super goofy Dad…….end of my story……One more thing….Sissy and her nose?? Well if she wanted to look like Tinkerbell….she’s a weirdo too…but also very good at her craft……

Unfortunately, it’s opinions like yours that unfairly fan these flames. I can read between your lines. If you invested time to read the facts, about the csse, his life, you would more than likely feel ashamed of your position about the man. Pedophilia is disgusting and should be dealt with harshly. But this isn’t your guy. It’s always easy to say where there is smoke there is fire, but thank God for the legal system to protect all who deserve their right to have a fair trial. They had 14 times to prove he was guilty, and xould not get a conviction. The DA said he was done and the “jury has spoken”. No appeal. Innocent.
Okie: Horrific. Yours is a story that deserves to be exposed..obviously this not the place to pursue it – however you may not wish to – but perhaps you could write it up…even if you are not seeking to go to public print.

Thanks Skeezer. My greatest fear in sharing this was that no one would believe me. After all people on this forum don’t know the “real” Janis Johns Rowsey. It could be a fabricated story, for all you all know…..but it wasn’t. I drive by the old house occasionally… it still stands but the laundry is gone and so is the dirty old man. This happened in 1949, but still very fresh in my mind. I never told my parents….. he told me not to, it was “our” secret….so typical…..

There was an incident in my life that almost engulfed me – my husband and close friends were concerned about my sanity …it wasn’t sexual…in the middle of the night I sat in a yoga position in the lounge – my two Alastians asleep on the open porch door. I “went” so deep that when the dogs stepped inside they hesitated, looked at each other and did not step towards me until I “came” back – from then on I returned to myself, began to eat and sleep normally and was able to resolve the situation.
I mention this – because deep trauma needs to be resolved and I want you to think about what might help put yours behind you. Excuse my intrusion.

I did talk to a counselor….. but this happened in 1949 or possibly 1950. But you know what??? I think this is strange for me to say but it’s the very first memory of my life that I have as a child….my next memory is about a bottle of beer rolling out from under my dad’s seat in his vehicle…he was an alcoholic…but did stop drinking when I was around 5…..But I think I’m a well adjusted person..,, a strong woman in spite of this happening to me.. …so I’m OK!! I’m so sorry you had to go through something so traumatic…. hugs to my TX friend!

OK: It’s terribly sad what happened to you and I’m so sorry. I don’t think you’ve “fanned the flames” but you have “muddied the water.” Your experience neither makes MJ a paedeophile, or exonerates him.
The boy’s father first demanded money from MJ, then injected his son with amyl nitrate. To do that to your own child is beyond belief. He is scum.
In fact the waters are so muddied, doubt if we will ever know the truth.
@ Skeezer….. The way these two trials would be similar is the fact that both were found to be not guilty of their respective charges. Just wondering if you thought OJ was actually innocent. I mean we know there are people in prison who are innocent and DNA is proving they were wrongfully imprisioned years after the fact. By the same token I’m also sure there are guilty people who have been found not guilty. I mean it works both ways. I was just curious if you had an opinion on OJs case….A child molestation case vs a murder case…. our laws tell us murder is worse, as that carries the death penalty but I’m not so sure about that…….A child who has been sexually abused has had their life ripped from them too……in a totally different kind of way……Okie

I know quite a bit about MJ’s life and times(and trial), as I read up on them. OJ I have no idea and really don’t care. Did watch a tv show about it but in my view it does not compare. In Mj”s case there was.no “dna” to find.

happens. Did you read John Grisham’s book “The Innocent Man”? That trial took place at the courthouse where I worked. DNA set Dennis Fritz and Ronnie Williamson free. I’m not an advocate of innocent people being sent to prison, nor am I happy that sometimes the guilty go free….
I kept up with both trials,…but tbh OJs stayed with me longer since it was televised. If MJ’s trial was televised I didn’t watch it. Appreciate the feedback. Okie

Both oj and Jacko were pathological liars. Oj said the killer was there because Nicole was a drug addict. He beat her til she was swollen & purple. Obviously oj & mj were psychopaths and got together at Pedoland. Even oj stated that mj wasn’t in love with women.
Jacko insisted that he shared beds with boys because he behaved “Jesus-like. I didn’t know “Jesus” endorsed Jacko’s dirty phone call to Terry George. Wealthy Terry wasn’t paid by anyone.
Jacko looked like a zombie with his pants’ zipper down when he supposedly cared about singing in front of his family & Mac Culkin. Liz Taylor kept saying she was ok with his behavior. She was just an enabler of pedophilia and drug abuse. She was no friend. He didn’t take drug rehab seriously. MJ took his kids to Klein’s dermatology clinic to get a lot of painkillers and useless nose reconstruction. He also had Propofol sedative which he paid Murray to steal from the hospital. Sedative abuse eventually killed the person/criminal.

Wowee Kath, She must love her flat very much to spend so much dosh on it. Mind you it’s an incredibly convenient place to live. I imagine that’s quite unusual. The council is quite strict I believe. I think old buildings are quite tricky to mess around with. My friends did loads of internal renovations and lo and behold the new bathroom leaked into the down below flat causing endless problems that were not easily solved.
