Jack Sock Out Two Months After Snowboarding Accident
Once ranked among the Top 10, Jack Sock is now out of the Top 100 and the news isn’t getting any better. The 26-year-old underwent surgery last week for torn ligaments in his figures after a snowboarding accident.
Sock will reportedly miss two months, keeping him out of Indian Wells and Miami. He had already withdrawn from New York and Delray Beach.
Sock made big gains in doubles last year with Mike Bryan winning both Wimbledon and the US Open. But with the return of Mike’s brother, Bob, Sock is also out of a Grand Slam-winning partner.
Sock is currently ranked No. 104. He’s been out of the Top 100 since early November.
Sock ranked No. 8 just 14 months ago.
