Roger Federer Is An Unbelievable Tennis Player And A Better Bloke!
Following a strong No. 2 finish to 2014, Roger Federer is currently in his home base of Dubai training for the new season. As he often does, Federer flies in some of the younger stars in the game to help in his preparations. Enter Australian phenom Thanasi Kokkinakis.
After a few weeks with Federer, the 18-year-old Kokkinakis left quite impressed:
It's been unreal training with the legend @rogerfederer the last couple weeks. Learnt a lot, he's a unbelievable player and better bloke! 👑

Ranked No. 150, Kokkinakis is hopeful of earning one of the three available wildcards into the Australian Open main draw. But tournament director Cameron Pearson and Pat Rafter will also have to consider Marinko Matosevic, James Duckworth and Jason Kubler. Presently all Top 100 men are entered into the Australian Open.
Australian legend John Newcombe says Kokkinakis has a very bright future.
“He’s going to make a move next year,” Newcombe said. “I think he’s the same as Nick, certainly with a potential to be top 20, top 10, top four or five in the world.
“In some ways, he might have a slightly better all-round game. Not quite as much explosive power as Nick. It might take Thanasi an extra year to get it, but I think he’ll make good inroads next year. I’d be very surprised if he’s not well entrenched in the top 100 by the end of next year.”
