Nadal, Federer, Roddick Remain Scary-Good in Paris

The hits just keep on coming from Paris. Former/Future year-end No. 1s Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Andy Roddick all enjoyed easy wins today setting up for some great matches Friday in the quarterfinals at the Tennis Masters Series Paris, the final stop of the 2008 ATP regular season.

Maturing Murray Masters Madrid

Andy Murray is quickly becoming a real powerhouse on the ATP circuit. Earlier today the 21-year-old Brit collected his second straight Tennis Masters title defeating the surprising Gilles Simon 6-4, 7-6(6) in the Madrid final.

Nadal, Del Potro Anchor Davis Cup Wins, Will Meet in November Final

Things went pretty much according to form this weekend in Davis Cup. Spain rolled up on a game U.S. team, 4-1, while Argentina v. Russia went right down to the decider, with the Gaucho Nation coming through on the back of hero Juan Martin Del Potro to win 3-2.

Can Djokovic or Federer Chase Down Nadal at the French Open?

Rafael Nadal has never, ever lost a best-of-five set match on clay. Never. The Spaniard has a perfect 34-0 mark in his career in best of five matches on the dirt, but that fact is not the only reason I’m making him my pick to win a fourth straight French Open.
