Andy Roddick Trains For 2012 By Doing The Humpty Dance [Video]
Andy Roddick is undertaking a new training regimen. And after finishing out of the Top 10 for the first time in his career this past season, can you blame him?
Last week Roddick joined friend and radio on-air personality Bobby Bones for an on-stage rendition of the Humpty Dance. The performance was part of the Bobby Bones Show Tacky Sweater Party held Friday night in Roddick’s hometown of Austin, Texas. (Now you know why Roddick has that sweater on!)
The former No. 1 has been a regular guest on the the Bobby Bones show, and earlier this month the two announced that they will collaborate on a weekend sports talk show on Fox Sports Radio.
“I couldn’t be more excited to join the FOX SPORTS RADIO lineup,” Roddick said. “Hosting a radio program is something I’ve always wanted to do, and to have this opportunity with my close friend Bobby is truly amazing. We can’t wait to get started!”
The Austin-based show will debut on January 7.
The 29-year-old Roddick will open his 2012 tennis season on January 11 at the Kooyong Exo where he hasn’t played in four years.
Roddick finished 2011 with a ranking of 14 with just one title in Memphis.
